How to Financially Support the LWF Jerusalem Program
LWF Jerusalem is supported financially through the contributions of Lutheran churches, private individuals, and organizations that work for justice, peace, and humanitarian aid. The generosity of these donors provides healthcare, education, and emergency relief to Palestinians in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. Donors may also contribute toward the construction of affordable housing for the Palestinian Christians of Jerusalem.
All contributions of any amount are helpful and appreciated. LWF Jerusalem will send you a receipt acknowledging the arrival of your donation. If you wish to donate money to a specific project, please indicate which project on the memo line of a check, or in an accompanying note. If you are making a donation by bank transfer, please send us an email at [email protected] so we know to expect your donation.

To make a tax-deductible contribution to Augusta Victoria Hospital, make a check out to the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, write "GMGO739 - AVH over and above" on the memo line, and mail the check to: ELCA Gift Processing Center, PO Box 1809, Merrifield, VA 22116-8009.
To make a tax-deductible contribution to the LWF housing project for Palestinian Christians in Jerusalem, make a check out to the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, write "GMGO502" on the memo line, and mail the check to: ELCA Gift Processing Center, PO Box 1809, Merrifield, VA 22116-8009.
To make a non-tax-deductible contribution to other LWF Jerusalem Program projects, or to pay for a guest house reservation or for olive oil, please make your check out to The Lutheran World Federation. Indicate on the memo line the purpose of the check (e.g. VTP, Guest House, or Olive Oil). Checks from the U.S. and Canada should be sent to: Hope Lutheran Church, Attention: LWF Jerusalem Program, 4201 Guilford Drive, College Park, Maryland 20740. Checks will then be forwarded to the LWF in Geneva where they are cashed and the appropriate Jerusalem accounts are credited.
